Tornado Alley Chasing is an opportunity for storm chasers and weather enthusiasts that want to learn how to chase severe weather. My name is David Williams, and my mission is to give people from around the world a partner in storm chasing. I will teach you how to forecast and chase severe storms and tornadoes throughout the U.S. and Canada. For those established chasers that live overseas, I welcome you to join me as a storm chasing partner. Tornado Alley has some of the wildest and most photogenic weather on Earth. I want to meet and build relationships with storm chasers, and I want to do that by partnering with small, enthusiastic groups. If you have no storm chasing or forecasting experience, but you want to learn, then I can teach you. I love chasing severe weather, and I want those that share my passion to have an opportunity to pursue it.
I exclusively handpick chase partners. This is not a typical storm chasing tour.
If you are interested in being a storm chaser and learn meteorology and how to chase, then this opportunity is for you.
Also, if you are new to storm chasing and want to learn how to do it so that you can chase independently, I can teach you. At $300 USD per chaser, per day, you aren't going to find a cheaper storm chasing opportunity.

Toyota 4Runner, with plenty of room, off road capabilities, and a heavy duty hail/debris shield.
If you decide to be a storm chase partner of mine, we will be driving all over the U.S. Wherever the storms are, that's where we'll be. You decide how long you want to chase with me. I will be on the road storm chasing for 6 weeks. Want to chase for 1 week? Great! Let me know and book your flight. Want to chase for 3 weeks? Awesome! The longer the better. I chase purely for the pleasure of watching and experiencing the storms. I primarily chase to see tornadoes; although, I do love structure. A nice mothership can really make my day! I do like to get close to tornadoes, but this is entirely dependent on the safety of the situation. I am not going to put myself and my fellow chase partners in unnecessarily dangerous situations. I will drive long distances to chase something worthwhile... North Dakota, Michigan, and even Canada aren't out of the question. All group purchases (hotel, gas, etc.) are split evenly among all members in the group including me. Therefore, I will be paying for all of the group purchases (hotel, gas, tolls, etc.) and splitting it evenly among all of us at the end of the trip. Therefore, you should be prepared to pay your share of the expenses with cash, Paypal, Venmo, or transferwise at the end of the trip.
