Review of "Tour 4B - Finger of God - 10 Days EXTREME TOUR" by Tornadic Expeditions

General review

I have been wanting to see a Tornado and visit Tornado Alley for many years now, this year I finally made it happen. After some research I chose Tornadic Expeditions and opted for a new tour they were running called “Finger of God” I feel I couldn’t have chose better! The tour ran for 10 days and was AWESOME. I came all the way from Australia to see a Tornado in person and boy did I. This tour was an extreme tour where you got to chase like a real storm chaser. We saw 11 tornadoes and even drove beside a few it was absolutely incredible. The guides were great, and not once did I feel unsafe, they really know their weather and are very skilled drivers. The company owner always booked us decent accommodation ( even got a spa bath at one hotel) As for being in a vehicle with strangers for 10 days TBH, the thought didn’t thrill me, but it turned out great, such a great group of people . And I am a big traveler and got to see so much of the area on this tour so that was a bonus. For anyone considering doing a Tornado tour and wanting to have the thrill of storm chasing, I highly, highly recommend Tornadic Expeditions and their Finger of God tour. Absolutely the best!!!

Vehicle review:

On the finger of God tour they use a large SUV with hail protection. I spent 10 days and 5000 miles in this vehicle which I found to be very roomy and comfortable, with plenty of charging options for your electronics. The seat warmers came in handy when the weather got cold after a super cell passed through.

Tour guide review:

The Tornadic Expeditions guides are great. They take safety very seriously but still manage to get you up close into the Tornado action. And they do their best to make your trip fun and entertaining. I felt completely safe the entire time . I found them to be very knowledgeable in extreme weather .
