Chris started chasing with Tempest Tours in 2013 with his Dad (Steve Pekich). As an avid surfer, he have always been interested in the weather. Chris was a lifeguard and Red Cross First Aid. He is also CPR certified. After his first trip with Tempest and seeing the El Reno tornado, he became hooked on severe weather. He currently lives in Los Angeles and works as a substitute teacher and real estate agent.
