My father is interested in scheduling a chase, but can’t get off of work for a whole week, but is looking at getting into a four day trip if possible at a favorable time. Was wondering what the costs would be.
The only tour companies that run short tours nowadays are Tempest Tours and Weather Adventures (unless I have missed something) so you should start by contacting them. The price is $1.750 for a 5 day tour with each of them.
Alicia: Cool! StormChasingUSA.com does not offer any tours ourselves as this is a website that shows all tours from all tour companies. I suggest you have a look at this page and see if you find any on-call tours you like.
Hi there, I’m looking to do a tour start June but I was wondering if you guys could recommend a company that is more so into the tornado chasing than the storms?
I wouldn’t say that there is any tour company that focus more on the tornadoes than any other as all tour companies I have chased with, or talked to, have tornadoes as the #1 priority. All chase tornadoes but in such, also chase storms. It is very rare that you have to make a trade-off between chasing a storm with no tornado possibility where you have the chance to see a tornado. The only reasons I could see is if it is unsafe to chase the tornado, which is often the case in HP supercells or after dark and/or when the storm structure is likely to be a better option for a particular storm.
So, I wouldn’t worry about that. Having said that, it may be better with a smaller company (with fewer passengers) as you could have a better chance to convince everyone to go for a small chance of a tornado rather than other options – in comparison with a large company. That is just my guess though, and not necessarily the case. Once again, ALL tour companies chase tornadoes as a #1 priority.

Hello, I’m looking for a single day or “on call” tour for June 2018 if that’s possible.
